me personally i think they are just working on 4.0 at this point also we have seen a similar pattern in the past with gemini when they used to be good for a while but then got outclassed, but based off trends gemini once they release a model. it's genuinely rly good and stays on the high parts of the tier list for quite a long time it stays relevant way longer then other ai's but yeah at this point im pretty sure they just scrapped 3.5 since they are working on 3.6 now cuz 3.5 pro hallucinated too much or something if im not wrong. quite sad to see since i liked gemini so much for how much they offer i myself had been subscribed to them for like 2 years straight not feeling like i need anything else but switches to chatgpt again few months ago and although chatgpt is still way too safe for my liking it is way better then how it was pre 5.5 i think it'll take a while before gemini releases a new good model but once they do it'll probably be that thing again where gemini doesn't even need to update the model for a really long time and still stays relevant for rly long
