The reason it flopped is very simple. Gunn put Supergirl in a position where it wasn’t able to fill the shoes of Superman. Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman all should have came out as movies or atleast projects first. To introduce Supergirl as your second movie was irresponsible and honestly dumb on Gunn’s part
