@lockinsgv: Nature always finds a way to slow you down. 💚 Watching these beautiful green parrots enjoy breakfast in the San Gabriel Valley made my whole morning. Sometimes the best moments are completely unexpected. 🦜🌿 #SanGabrielValley #GreenParrots #CaliforniaNature #BirdWatching #NatureLovers

I was told they’re originally out of the Arboretum in Arcadia. They’re all over the San Gabriel Valley. Very beautiful colors and when they fly around in big groups, they are noisy! When my cats (indoor) hear them coming, they run to the windowsills and love watching them. ❤️There are also free roaming peacocks in Arcadia and neighboring cities, like Pasadena. They’re so beautiful and it’s a joy watching them walking down the sidewalks and lawns.. just minding their own business. I believe most locals know they’re around and are careful when driving through the areas.
