We have a strong Catholic heritage, and during the Quiet Revolution in the 1960s, church-related terms turned into swear words. And what’s nice about our swear words is that they can be nouns, verbs, adverbs and adjectives. Il Will use "câlisse". Noun: J'ai jeté ce vieux calice aux poubelles. This means : I threw that old fucking thing in the trash. Verb: Je m'en câlisse! This means : I don't fucking care. Or: Je vais t'en câlisser une! This means: I'm going to fucking beat you! Adverb: Il fait câlissement chaud! This means : It's fucking hot! Adjectif : C'est un p'tit câlisse lui! This means : He's a little fucker! We can use those word : osti, câlisse, tabarnak, criss, ciboire, sacrament and all these words can be used in different ways, as illustrated below. 😉😘
