They’re brainwashing y’all into believing this is normal. It isn’t. If you truly love your partner, you won’t want to sleep in a separate room.

Look at their body language, I can 💯 tell they’re sleeping in separate beds, pretty soon they’ll be sleeping in separate houses with different people.

I've been married 22 years and I can't sleep without touching my wife's leg. This is not a loving marriage. It may be a high functioning roommate situation, but nighttime intimacy is a foundation for a successful marriage.

Who sets the standard for what a relationship includes or does not include? There are no rules here. I’m tired of social opinion. My husband snored so bad I was getting terrible sleep. But I’m just supposed to put up with it when there is an extra bed available?

If you sleep better without your partner then that person isn’t for you . It opens the door for falling out of love

The judgement in these comments is crazy! How tf you gonna tell people they don’t love their spouse because something different works for them?

20yrs, sleep divorced for almost 7 - zero issues, lots of love, respect and appreciation. Don’t let anyone tell you that “it’s not right”.

I think it’s so weird how people are convinced that they know best for other people in their relationships. If it works, it works. Later on they get divorced they get divorced if they don’t, then they stay in love and married, and they stay in love and married. It’s just odd that most of these comments think they know better for others.

My husband and I sleep in different rooms. He is a horrifically bad snorer. After years and years of terrible sleep I couldn’t do it anymore. Sleeping in seperate rooms saved our marriage !

My husband and I have been married for 28 years now and we sleep apart and it saved our marriage. He snores and I have insomnia and we would fight all the time now we are closer than ever and happily married.

It’s the reason why I’m still married for 23 years to my husband. We have separate bedrooms. It really is the secret to a long marriage.

I get the best of both worlds! People often forget how IMPORTANT IT IS TO GET A GOOD PROPER SLEEP ROUTINE AND REST. Sleep is equivalent to staying alive. Don't neglect it for each others feelings.
