[EIRENE] is the Greek word meaning [PEACE] Strongs #1515. Also translated as [SHALOM] in the Hebrew language. Occuring over 100 times throughout the Bible, EIRENE/SHALOM is defined as; "a place of rest, calmness, quietness, repose, tranquility, a place of order, absence of strife, freedom from enmity or war. A state of reconciliation with men and God." Noteworthy, EIRENE is also the word for which the country "Ireland" was named. Compare the following verses:
