OK I’m Shia and it is believed that the soil of iman Hussein did have cures and blessings, but you always have to remember that they’re always are gonna be extremist for me. This is a bit extreme. Yes I mourn the death of a iman Ali and a Hussein. But I don’t do that by cutting myself with knives and chains against my chest yes we do sort of smack ourselves repeatedly on the chest, but it’s like clapping. I know it’s weird to think of it that way but that’s how I think of it. It’s like if somebody claps and I say oh you’re hitting yourself stop that’s not OK and your hands turned red after you clap for a long time right or if you clap really hard imam ail mentioned that hurting ur self is haram and you could not do it to the point of fainting or until you bleed since that would be too much but like I said there’s always gonna be extremist, but the fact that I go into these common sections and I see people dancing and putting stickers of people dancing to the audio in the back it’s just disrespectful we’re all Muslim we all have one God, and that is allah swt We both believe that Muhammad was the last prophet. We both pray towards the same direction. Yes, there might be differences in what we believe in, but that doesn’t mean you can go mock people in the comments.
