@brkxdh: Fried catfish kind of night! Here’s how I made mine: For my fried catfish, I start by patting each fillet dry with paper towels. Then I season both sides generously with my favorite seasonings. For my wet mixture, I whisk together one egg with a few dashes of hot sauce. Dip each piece of catfish into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are fully coated. For the breading, I keep it simple and use Louisiana Fish Fry. I add the breading to a large Ziploc bag, then coat one piece of fish at a time, giving the bag a good shake until each fillet is evenly and thoroughly coated. Heat your oil until it's ready for frying, then carefully add one or two pieces of fish at a time. Avoid overcrowding the pan so each piece cooks evenly and gets perfectly crispy. Fry for several minutes per side, or until the catfish is golden brown, crispy on the outside, and cooked through. Transfer the fried fish to a wire rack instead of paper towels to let the excess oil drip off while keeping the coating nice and crisp. #catfish #fishing #comfortfood #recipeideas #countrycooking

I love to see what sides you choose! For fish, I always do hushpuppies, coleslaw, and French fries.
