Is there a particular site or app to find loads for hotshot? I’m looking to buy a truck/trailer setup soon and start my own.

When you slept in the truck , did you ever find something that actually worked to keep cool at night ? Charles has some portable Dewalt fans but they aren’t cooling :/

I full understand when you say you can't do this part time. but my schedule is 24 hours on shift with 48 hours off. do you think it's worth really deep diving on getting started having 48 hours at a time to haul? already have a great 1 ton truck and hauling experience.

What do you reccomend for those of us with newer diesels that shutoff and they claim that idling is not good for engines with DEF

if your 5ft 8in you will fit and sleep comfortably in pretty much pickup rear bench seat, now for the rest of us 6ft an above you need to take out the front passenger and rear seats and custom fab a couple pieces of angle iron and shorten a folding queen bed.

You can get an airbag squib to plug in and it’ll turn the light off.

Yeah the passenger seat sleeper is awesome. I did that for a year and a half and I slept good. The only thing was is like you said if you wanna take somebody with you, you had to take your bed out and then put the seat back in and it was a pain in the butt. But if you’re going to sleep in the truck, that’s the way to do it.

I did the back seat sleeper thing for 2 yrs, even went as far as to build a elevated bed removing the back seat. I can promise you that at 6' tall I in fact did not sleep half bad but I now suffer from chronic joint pain. moral is, spend the money and get a purpose built sleeper or do the sleeper on the gooseneck.
