My husband stayed up for months playing board games with me at like 1am every night when our first was born because I had PPD and cried every night when it got dark. He changed his entire sleep schedule so I wouldn’t be lonely with the baby. Good husbands are the best!

I once had a friend ask me how I get my husband to help around the house. I was confused. She said “I just saw him wipe the kitchen counter and now he’s taking the kids up for bath time. How do you get him to do that?” I didn’t want to say what I really wanted. I just shrugged and said “he’s always been this person”.
