My operator was running like the hero in a slow-motion Bollywood movie while three different squads were fighting around me. I somehow survived a Defender shield, started healing while sprinting, then another player pulled out yet another Defender. I tried to reposition with my shotgun, but it felt like every action had a 2-second delay. Then, out of nowhere, a player who looked knocked somehow got back up and shot me before I even heard footsteps. At that point, I wasn't fighting the enemy anymore—I was fighting luck, ping, and the game itself
