Getting grow tents are just better in my opinion, I’ve got my gold tegu and blood python in them, heat and humidity is never a concern with them and I keep finding new fun ways to make the space easier for them to use alll the space

tbh... I dont get how anyone can house adult cresties in a 18x18x24 and feel good about.. I keep my smaller than normal female in a 24x18x36 and it still looks a bit small. when I hold her up to my eurydactylodes' enclosure I really can't imagine keeping her in something that small her whole life... no shade 😅

I just did this background in a 18x18x24 for my juvenile. I’m hoping they start making more affordable PVC 18x18x36 now that the minimum is changed. I wanted to do that size immediately but all the PVC tanks were even more expensive than the glass

problem is, everyone wants to be a breeder but doesn't have ethical breeder space. I hate what the hobby has turned into. some of us have been doing bio cages since the late 90s early 2000s.

Had to tell someone today that their beardie should be in 4x2x2 by a year old and told them mine was too long for a 40gal at 8 months and their only response was “their mine thanks tho” like obviously they are yours but we own the same species 😭
