@build_in_public: Everybody's doing influencer marketing wrong. One of the biggest opportunities with influencer marketing is that it influences AI. The content in a description of an Instagram Reel, of a TikTok, gets cited if you know what to do. Find the smallest, cheapest micro-influencers you can, copy their recent descriptions, paste it into Google. You want to see that their recent videos are getting indexed. It is likely that somebody with a few hundred followers, who will completely undercharge you for their influence, that their videos will be indexed on Google in 24 hours. So you pay them for a branded post, standard influencer marketing stuff, but then what you do, you tell them what to put in the description. You put a long description for SEO, for LLMs. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, they all copy what are in descriptions for Instagram videos, for TikToks. Gemini is the only one that can read transcripts. Gemini gets its transcripts directly from YouTube. One of the biggest opportunities to get cited in LLMs is micro influencers on video platforms, people with literally only a few hundred followers. Google loves UGC content. LLMs cite UGC content.
