it’s tough to know what to think - she’s a fantastic drummer, and there’s plenty of room for her to be herself all night, but there are certain moments, iconic moments of drumming, where I just wish she’s play the parts or fills precisely as Peart wrote them. Journey’s new singer sings every word and note the same as the Steve Perry, and when Wolfgang Van Halen fills in for his dad, he plays every note carbon copy… actually, everyone who ever plays one of Eddie’s guitar parts plays it absolutely accurately - Peart should receive that treatment; a little more pure copying is needed (I mean, c’mon, you know that part here near the end where the bass and drums swap little solo riffs 3 times each? her 3rd one was atrocious, no?)
