That s a huge myth right there. People are more like animals than we want to admit. There are donkeys out there ie people with empathy, friendly, that thrive in peaceful environments etc and and there are carnivores ie people who like to hunt others down and play with their pray before devouring it. Modern physiology tends to overlook the thrill of the fight, of the conquest, of destroying perceived enemies. It’s more about people tendencies and empathy levels than about insecurity. Insecurity lies in every human being, the way one deals with it, reveals their character.
