I left my hometown in Massachusetts of 30 years last Fall. I’ve wanted to live in New York City for as long as I can remember! I always loved visiting the city growing up. I’ve called New York home for almost a year now and I have zero regrets! My mental health has never felt better. I’m so much closer to friends, there’s so much to do here, I have my dream job - I really couldn’t ask for more!! I feel like a whole new me since moving here.

If you and boo thang ever want a weekend getaway, go to Redondo Beach. 30-45 minute drive out of the LA madness. My hometown, so beautiful and peaceful- with the best food and hospitality ever. Stay at the Shade hotel. Bathtub on your balcony, over looking the boats and marina. Such a gem! Go to Riviera Village for all of your foodie adventures. Love a good Cheesecake Factory moment, probably a 5 minute walk from the Shade. Riv Village, 35 min walk at most. Walk along the water. TONS of bars and restaurants and night life. Everyone smells like sand and ocean in the best way possible! And everyone is SO nice!

There’s a storefront at the farmers market in the grove called vintage menu art! They have unique prints from pretty much every major city. Great for decorating. The insta handle is @vintagemenuartusa
