Her barking. Barking for food, barking for attention, barking because she wanted to get on the bed, barking just because. Everything. There isn’t a day I don’t think about him. I hold my emotions in until I simply can’t anymore. The world continues, yet my heart still hasn’t comprehended the loss of my soulmate. My mum packed his things away into a box without me knowing. I was angry, but also in denial that he was really gone. I think once his things were packed away, it hit me even harder. It made his absence feel real. I miss him every single day. ❤️

The thing I miss most about him, is coming home from work and him waiting at the door for me, wagging his tail. Then he run up on the couch and wait for me to pick him up and take him into the room and us lay down together and go to sleep.

When I would get home, she never missed an opportunity to greet me. sometimes when I was getting home late, she would already be asleep but hear me at the door and groggily walk up to me and get soooo excited that she would do little happy taps 😁 it was hard getting her to go back to sleep but man I miss her being at the door. Here's a picture of her standing in the window like an old lady
