No hate! I notice one nostril is closed a lot. Possibly sleep apnea?? It is worth it to get tested. Even people not overweight have it.

Omg I had no idea you were an autoimmune/Hashimotos girly too!! I feel everything you said so hard. But one of my doctors recommended taking a magnesium supplement to help with symptoms and it actually has made a difference in how rested I wake up feeling and decreasing associated headaches. I’d recommend the magnesium L-threonate specifically for sleep quality!! I take the life extension neuro mag one.

Hii I’ve had hashimoto for my whole life- You should get a methyl genetic test done. I did mine at Life med (timonium location) and they have a doctor go through your results and which supplements to take to support specifically your body! It gave me really great information about the total picture of my health. Specifically with energy levels. Also mold is big here in Baltimore you should check your home for it, my symptoms were basically exaggerated versions of my hashimotos but my levels were fine- turns out it was mold contributing to it

I have had Hashimotos many years. The only thing that helps me is 2 B12 injections weekly. Normal dose is 1 injection a month. But the 2 a week is life changing. I hope you get it stabilized. Just get rest, pray and it will get better🩷. Oh and stress sends me into a flair.

Myo-inositol powder along with selenium (two Brazil nuts a day) has been a game changer for me. There are a lot of evidence-based studies supporting it. It isn’t an overnight fix, but it has really helped over time!

Consider getting tested for Celiac! You’d have to start eating gluten again, but Celiac has much stricter restrictions than eating gluten free, and the two can occur together!

Have you gone gluten free? I started last October when I got diagnosed with hashimotos and it’s changed my life! Do you have hypothyroidism too?

Just went through a year long flare. Found out my iron, vitamin D, and zinc were low. Got those back up but still fatigued. Then went on a medication called NP Thyroid 15 mg. I feel 10 years younger!!! If you need a good endocrinologist, Dr. Castorino in Vegas. Worth the flight. Good luck 💕💕💕

Get a sleep study done. They're not just for sleep apnea.

Have you had your vitamin D and B12 levels checked? Also! Generic medication is less effective for a lot of people. Switching to the brand name medication can make a noticeable difference.

I got diagnosed in 2022!! I didn’t want to take medicine for a long time, but honestly once I got on medication it got sooo much better. So if you haven’t tried meds (I take NP Thyroid) I recommend at least trying and seeing if it’s helpful for you❤️

So sorry and I completely know how this feels. Usually i get flare ups when my nervous system is struggling so anything you can do to calm the nervous system is great.. also- low impact workouts like Pilates, walking, swimming to get blood flowing but not spike cortisol.. morning sunlight, redlight therapy, immune support (vitamin IVs), Chiro adjustments, not too much caffeine (and when you do with food).. Gluten free (not even a little)! Sending hugs ❤️

Saving this to come back to for advice! I’ve been struggling with my Hashimoto’s since I was diagnosed January this year. I also have Addison’s and take HC10 so seem to always be tired. I get 10+ hours of sleep but that’s never enough. My bones ache and I’m losing hair like crazy.

Gluten free diet, selenium pills, glp-1 compound has been amazing for inflammation, sauna blanket, getting outside in the sun for about 15 a day.

Fellow autoimmune girly. 👋🏼 For the fatigue, honestly the right combo of meds from my rheumatologist, but I still have bad days (usually meaning I’ve overdone it and need to reset and rest). Brain fog: I just do something low stakes to work my mind like a puzzle book or coloring. I also highly recommend easy/ low energy required self care activities that you get excited about. They boost morale and give you something to focus on and look forward to getting out of bed for.
