okay but how come whenever I told my leadership my ASVAB scores, they looked horrified and asked why I was a 13M? Literally the first time it happened I asked if the score was bad and if I should have studied harder. 😭 (My overall score was 85. I forget my line scores, as I took it in 2016, but yeah lol)

I once had to teach someone how to make Mac and cheese. They couldn’t get past how to boil water. Then there was the guy who didn’t understand that you had to put water in the little microwave cups and Mac and cheese. He swore he read the instructions.

I got a 90 and in boot there was a 31.... it showed. Graduation day the DI said, on the parade deck handing him his EGA "Duncan, you slipped through the cracks".... I BARELY held it in.

I argued with another soldier about the location of the Mason Dixon line. She said it was between MD and VA and was going on about how important it was to the Civil War. I grew up at closest under four miles from it. Between MD and PA and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Civil War. I think she was a 25L.
