ALSO SUSHI IS LITERALLY NOT GF most of the time bc of soy sauce 😥😭 like sure, rice, (fish/vegetables/whatever) could be gf but the whole food isn't unless the restaurant is aware! eating gf is so much more painful as a coeliac than it needs ro be bc of this

People are failing to remember the most important thing, an airport is for flights, planes, transport from A to B! Going to the airport and complaining about the food is like going to McDonald’s and complaining you can’t order a taxi! Or going to a shopping centre food court and complaining about the traffic outside.

Airports are notoriously bad for having gluten free options and are the reason I always end up severely hangry at the end of a travelling day. If Soph’s post makes more airports provide more options then I will be so glad.

Agree! It’s so frustrating to see the blatant disregard. I am hoping this being in public conversation can be a step forward in catering to truly gluten FREE not ‘friendly’ standards 🤷♀️

hospitals as well. I went into surgery and was asked if I have any dietary requirements and that spotify be sorted when I got out. I got nothing. There was nothing so I had to wait for my husband to go get me some fruit from woolies. I was discharged at 7pm. I got out of surgery at midday.
