The logic isn’t there as I listen and it seems stupid to pay that much for a color difference.. but the dial and dial configuration is what makes the watch. Top it with exclusivity and FOMO and boom you have a huge premium.

You asked the question “why” and then gave examples but didn’t answer. Just pointing that out. But slight variations always have different demand. From the 116610LV (Hulk) or the 16610LV (Kermit). They’re special runs with limited availability in a color that more people want.
