There’s actually a possibility that Ned and MJ remember because of Jean because she was in Peter’s past and she can looked at his memories and was also in Ned’s and Mj’s mind at the same time so she realistically could restore the memories.

In no way home, Peter and Ned do their handshake while Ned is wearing the Doctor strange thing on his hand. When they do the handshake a spark happens between their hands. I believe a spell was casted and that’s how Ned remembers.

You guys forget the spell was to forget Peter Parker. That doesn’t mean they forgot that someone was there with them in those blank moments. The reason I feel they remember some bits is because Peter and Spiderman are one. They could only erase half of him but they kept the other bits of him and are slowing putting the pieces back together.

I think through muscle memory he remembers the best friend he had. Yes he remembered that name Peter from before, but he also remembers that best friend he had and probably even looked for from missing him.
