@betsbeeaffiliate: I believed that if I worked hard, saved what I could, and did everything "right," retirement would eventually take care of itself. But life doesn't always go according to plan. Prices change. Circumstances change. Priorities change. For me, one of those priorities was spending more time with my mom when she needed me. That's when I realized I didn't need to work harder... I needed to think differently. So I started learning a new skill. Not because I was looking for a shortcut. But because I wanted more choices for my future. It has taken time, effort, and consistency. I'm still learning. I'm still growing.
