@i_am_lauraashley: Replying to @Aunaa Most Christians assume that if you left Christianity you’re broken, hurting, unhealed, or “your heart is hardened towards God” & the rest stay in religion out of tradition, a need for safety, or fear of hell. They can’t fathom what it’s like to heal out loud and be tuned in spiritually without religious governance. I strongly believe in religious freedom and fully support anyone’s decision to serve Christ, but I’ve learned that simple respect is not mutual from *most (not all) Christians. #christianity #exchristian #sasurvivor #religioustrauma #deconstruction
