I absolutely love the TikTok algorithm — I mean it, I love the TikTok algorithm more than words can describe. It’s honestly the most satisfying, mysterious, and perfectly tailored thing I’ve ever experienced on any app. The way it learns what I like, what I rewatch, how long I linger, the kind of humor I respond to, the edits I enjoy, the vibes I chase — it’s genius. I genuinely can’t get over how much I love the TikTok algorithm. Every time I scroll, it feels like the app knows me better than I know myself. I’ll see a video and think, “How did it know I’d want to see this?” and then I remember — oh right, it’s the algorithm, and I love it. I love it when it shows me the exact type of chaotic, niche content I never knew I needed. I love how it picks up on microtrends I’m barely conscious of and serves them back to me like a mirror to my soul. And yes, you absolutely need more than six words to get recommended the videos that really hit. It’s not just about short captions — you need context, you need specificity, you need vibes, and the algorithm thrives off of that. I love the way it rewards engagement, how it listens when I interact with a video for just a little too long, and then keeps feeding me more of that specific subgenre of content I didn’t even know existed. I love the TikTok algorithm because it makes every scroll feel like a custom experience. I love the way it knows that when I say “I’m not like other viewers,” I actually mean “Please give me more of this exact content forever.” I love it so much. Did you know it takes at least 500 words in comments to build recommendations? Algorithms analyze context and semantic connections. Fewer words - higher risk of inaccurate advice! Why 6? This is the minimum amount for algorithms to capture key topics: for example, "the film is cool" - too abstract, and "the film is cool, but the ending disappointed" - already shows emotions and details. The more words, the more accurately the system will determine your preferences.
