I held out on buying jbl for longest time, but after being unimpressed with the ult 5, I got the extreme 5. Im not really impressed with it either. Narrow soundstage and poor mids. You know of another midsize that just sounds great?

I got the original xtreme 1 and it has something thats called low frequency mode I think the xtreme 2 has it also but I don't know exactly

Thank you man for this video, I can say I agree with you on everything you said in the video. Overall I'm very satisfied with the xtreme 5, especially with the bass, which i thought was lacking a bit in the xtreme 3, especially at high volume

i usually just use a custom eq on my charge 3 on an app called "musicolet" it goes up to 31 bands. I think you should try it out(you do have to download songs to actually play music though)
