As an artist ally seller I aim to only sell merch of fandoms nobody else has selled in the history of ever until I have an army of oddly specific fandoms and nostalgic stuff merch plz and when I do mainstream fandoms even then I try to draw the characters nobody draws or put a spin on it nobody has done plzzzzz we neeed more sellers dedicated to niche stuff now! I go crazy over older ships because I didn't have the money when I was 15. Yuri on ice, haikyuu, Tokyo ghoul, black butler, owari no seraph, ect are disappearing, though they were HUGE, are rare now at my cons. You better bet I'm stocking up on jet chains and everything. Ive seen enough genshin impact. we want variety.

i NEVER see critical role represented, even at major ttrpg heavy cons, unless it’s in the form of prints. it makes my con when i see keychains, stickers, badge ribbons, etc of it, especially less represented characters

Yessssss Like i love that i can find stuff for the newest things, but often it just feels like the same at every table in artist alley, only the style changes. I LOVE when i see older things, niche stuff, and stuff i love. Sometimes it feels like the diversity of artist alley is slowly dying, and not even just because of AI or resellers and such, but because everyone makes the same things, and i just yearn for Ouran highschool host club merch😭❤️🙏
