From what I understand the committee for the first time ever didn’t have the entire Congress vote on this so they bypassed their own rules. The Democrats warned them that this could turn on them if they regain the majority. The reality of contempt of Congress doesn’t have a lot of teeth. It’s a misdemeanor. I don’t think it will go that far. Of course they haven’t done a goddamn thing about the Epstein files.
