god Reckless Cohort is genuinely heartbreaking cuz yeah the flavor text is well written and very evocative. But the card itself is a creature that recklessly attacks with no self preservation unless there's someone else there to watch him or to be protected.

This one always makes me cry. As someone whos witnessed the heartbreaking reality that is seeing someone's memory slip away, this art and its flavor text tell a story I dont think can be put into words. The unraveling of the woven tapestry in tour mind, the tea spilling but the subject smiling on unknowingly, the fact it gains you life by sacrificing you hand (aka continues to extend your life but at the cost of what represents your immediate memory). It's ludo narrative at its finest
