@trianglesmith: GRC cybersecurity is boring… but it pays really well. 😂💰 A lot of my day is: 📄 Writing and updating policies 📋 Reviewing controls 📸 Asking people for screenshots as evidence 📊 Updating risk registers 📝 Documenting procedures 🔍 Reviewing audit findings 📧 Sending follow-up emails because someone STILL hasn’t provided evidence 📑 Mapping controls to frameworks 🤝 Sitting in meetings talking about compliance It’s not exactly the Hollywood version of cybersecurity. I’m not sitting in a dark room hacking into servers all day. Sometimes I’m literally just staring at a spreadsheet asking: “Where is the evidence?” But here’s the part I love… You can build a very comfortable career in GRC, and six-figure salaries are absolutely possible as you gain experience and move into higher-level roles.
