I met in china an other traveler that went their. He told me everytime he tried talking to a uyghur an officer would come and ask him what did they talk about. He even went to jail one time. It still feels very sketchy

i get your arguments but don’t you think it’s strange that uyghur people living outside of china have a rare chance of visiting xinjiang during vacation times? there are multiple times where uyghur families/people don’t get access to going to xinjiang when they try to travel there for vacation, including my family
