yes and no. you could end up permanently disabled tommorw and it can fuk your life up alot. once disabled if you have any restrictions that limit how much you can do in a day it becomes extremely hard to hold a job down let alone get hired. not to mention somthing like a paon disorder where your schedual because youre dealing with pain 24/7 means you become unreliable. the system of actually helping people fails and fails more then the people within those system. its also not a hand out to get welfare or disability you pay into those things when you work. hevean forbidden and all postive hopes you never need to use them but you also should not be made to feel guilty because you have to. all it takes is 1 accident today and your life's screwed tommorw

IMO there should be a time limit on any kind of welfare, like EI. Disability should be narrowed to those that can’t physically do anything else, and use the funding extra for retraining towards necessary careers.

I can't find work. I am a White Male 50yo . Experience in many fields. Lost my job due to COVID. Ei ran out years ago. No call backs in 2 plus years. @Metrolinx has filled my job listings. They are not even located in my Province.
