I physically could not produce to bf my first and it stressed me out and made me so deeply upset in the hospital when she was born. I didn’t even try with my second bc it was so horrible watching my baby try to eat and get NOTHING. Everyone was pressuring me to try. I didn’t produce the second time either, people were still pressuring me to try harder. Whyyyy would I set myself up for ppd like that again HELLO ????

When my son was about 10 weeks old i had HIS FATHER take him to go visit family for ONE day while i stayed home alone and cleaned our atrocious house. Facebook mom group shamed me so hard for it because my son was “too young to be away from me”. I was having a rough postpartum and just wanted a small break. I still think that sometimes.

well girl, my daughter is almost 5 months. we like to watch miss rachel & garden marcus. she also watches housewives with me. we just started her on purées and she’s had a sleepover with her mimi just so that i could have a night off tbh.
