I'll never forget the white kitten I found dying in a pothole by my apartment. Someone hit it and left it there. Rushed inside, grabbed a towel, and drove 45 minutes to the only vet our family trusted. I'm pretty sure it passed on the way, be cause the vet pronounced it. They gave me a tiny coffin and didn't charge me. Buried it in my family's back yard and cried
