From the fall of mankind until today, God has not stopped calling out to people with the same question: “Where are you?” Have you gone a long time without quiet prayer? Have you been so busy with life that you have slowly drifted away from God? Is your heart tired, but you do not know how to come back to Him? Have you fallen, and now you feel afraid to draw near to God again? But remember this: When God asks, “Where are you?” it is not because He does not know where you are. It is because He is still looking for you. He does not come first to condemn you. He comes first to call your heart back. What God values is a heart that is willing to return. Just like the prodigal son, when he came home, his father did not first stand there to shame him. He saw him from a long way off, ran to him, and embraced him. So when you hear this question again: “Where are you?” May your heart answer: Lord, I am here. I want to draw near to You again. I want to pray again. I want to seek You again. I want to come back to You. Lord, I am not perfect, but my heart still wants to return to You.
