Just got home to NY from San Diego. These were my favorites: 1) Del Mar City Beach (park near powerhouse park it has bathrooms and a park for kids and a food truck and beach gear rentals) 2) Safari Park lunch at Mkutano with the elephants!🐘, 3) Old Town (great food at both La Casa de Reyes and Casa Guadalajara), 4) La Jolla Cove Sea Lions near the pier! 5) La Perla for Burrito’s and a tie between Oscars and Old City Tacos for my favorite tacos. (My con from my trip: skip La Jolla shores parking was ridiculous beach is packed shoulder to shoulder, be aware a major homelessness crisis is happening in San Diego). Overall I loved the city and will be back! Beautiful place, laid back people great food and weather.
