I don’t think I’ve ever experienced this kind of happiness with anyone before. There’s something about that person that reaches a part of me no one else ever has. No one has ever made me laugh the way that person do, not just a simple laugh, but the kind where I completely forget everything around me and genuinely feel alive.

sometimes i wonder if i made the right choice by letting you go. you gave me a kind of happiness i didn’t even realize i was looking for, and somehow, i was the one who decided to walk away from it. i still remember how easy it was to laugh with you, how being around you could make everything feel lighter, even on days when nothing else did. and maybe that’s what hurts the most—i didn’t lose you because i stopped caring. i let you go while a part of me was still holding on. i knew i had my reasons, but knowing why i left doesn’t make me wish i had stayed any less. i guess sometimes, you can be the one who closes the door and still spend so much time wishing you hadn’t. maybe i’ll always wonder what would’ve happened if i had chosen differently. :')
