Anusorn Tamajai, a Bangkok MP, had waited outside the reception room to submit a letter urging Myanmar's leader to address cross-border problems and support the restoration of democracy in Myanmar. As Min Aung Hlaing's delegation arrived, Anusorn repeatedly shouted, "For peace, for humanitarianism," before parliament police intervened and escorted him from the area.
