not to mention race-bending white characters (with the exception of obvious trolls) has never really been malicious! POC are SOO under-represented, and wanting to see yourself and your features in a character is deeply comforting to so many! I have never personally seen someone make a POC edit out with clear malicious intent, unlike people who make white edits.

Black washing a character that is light skinned is wrong whitewashing a character that is dark skinned is wrong. In my opinion both are equally racist and the way I see it. Every race is equal making a character different than the race. They already have canonically in my opinion is racist in every way you can turn it.
