U missed the whole point(from what I know. I've onle heard about the book. I haven't read it compeletely. Just studied the part we had for OL lit. but my firend told me the story hence she had read the whole thing). That is how a human mind works when it's filled with an extreme level of pain and grief. She lost ppl who she loved and valued more than her own life. One second they were there.The next second they were gone. completely. forever. Real life isn't a movie. Human brains don't function with the priority of sympathizing and caring about oursiders in that type of situation. The mind tries to stabalize the person with various thoughts, states and actions. Some ppl even go insane when the mind fails to stabalize the person in their sane condition❤️
