I’m weirdly okay with it 😭 I’ve experienced this since I was a little girl. I just call it switching into first-person mode in my life simulator. 💀

And the part where you look up to the mirror and see yourself, but it feels like you're looking at a stranger. Like you're just wearing someone else's skin and living their life, but its not you. You'd have to experience it to understand it. It's awful.

sometimes i'll be perfectly fine then i realize i can't feel my hands feeling things so i'll sit there rubbing my hands on each other trying desperately to feel my hands on themselves but i can't so i panic further

It’s not even this fast either it’s just suddenly oh and then hmmm I have… one hand..? Two…? Hands..? Oh the world is zooming out. Oh and then it’s like your mind is blank and your eyes feel like they kinda unfocus

I always thought because I was aware of my consciousness. As a kid I used to look into the mirror afterwards and say "I really do exist, that's crazy"

I’ve dealt with it for so long that it just feels normal now. Sometimes I legitimately go into autopilot when driving and actually drive better than normal 🙃
