Tim Curry is amazing in this movie. but Mia Sara is just as deserving of high praise. He takes her breath and voice away with fear and the way she conveys the terror and despair is palpable. A perfect match ❤️

This movie was waaaaaasy before its time, and is hands down one of the best fantasy movies out there. I remember seeing it for the first time when I was a kid, and my eye were glued to the screen the whole time. I was captivated!!!

We had amazing films growing up... 80's 90's... Legend, Page master, Never ending story, the crow, demolition Man, Fallen, Nightmare before Christmas, Dune.. Dark Chrystal, Who framed Roger rabbit, Drop dead fred , Fern gully even our cartoons meant things .I'd like to think that's why we think the way we do. As older people I mean.. Kids don't have real substances.. Lessons, dreams.. I feel we learned empathy also compassion from such films .. Well, it was a time to live ....
