A lot of times the router etc doesn't have to be sent back but they are obliged to ask you for waste recycling purposes I had a bag sent out for my old one which I bagged up ready and it's still floating around the kitchen somewhere , think some providers say that the Routers etc are there property and it's just being leased so depends on your contract.

likely of the openreach providers. Has had 1 line upgraded to fibre but only have the capacity to run 1 fibre to the property. Best to sign up to a non OR suplier who will run another fibre. make sure you dont do a one touch switch as they will cancel the other one lol!

Secondly… sometimes all you need is to upgrade the equipment and you get better service.. changed ours instantly. Good luck 😂🥰

It's open reach and city fiber lines. Useally Open Reach doesn't have great upload speed in comparison to the down.
