hello there today i shall be talking about why gus is my favourite character in the owl house and why he should also be one of yours too. firstly the amount of times people disregard him in his own episodes is absolutely appalling. take for example, labyrinth runners. that episode was about gus and gus’ trauma with his bullies, being used/feeling naive and stupid for falling for tricks and how his mental state is affected because of it, meanwhile lots of people make the entirety of the episode about a singular scene with willow and hunter just because of one minute detail. i’m not saying that hunter or willow can’t be your favourites, or that they’re overrated. i’m just saying that people need to start paying attention to gus in episodes that were literally MADE for him. secondly, gus is the perfect middle between a comedic relief character a character with genuine trauma and worries. his jokes ease tension within scenes, but during angsty episodes like king’s tide, he can have moments when he is needed severely like when he distracts belos and sees his past with caleb, the grimwalkers, his rise to power etc, which i genuinely think will come into play in the next season. lastly, gus is loyal, brave when needed, and has morals and kindness. he helps those such as hunter, even though he locked him and his teammates up in the former episodes. gus is honestly one of the most loveable and heartfelt characters in the whole show, and anyone that thinks otherwise can talk to me. thank you for listening. | also, less then two weeks to go for both toh and dead end! | + i wrote this paragraph in a mcdonald’s toilet || #theowlhouse #theowlhouseedit #toh #tohedit #augustus #augustusporter #augustusedit #augustusporteredit #gus #gusporter #gusedit #gusporteredit #theowlhousegus #tohgus #theowlhousegusedit #tohgusedit #gustheowlhouse #gustoh #gustheowlhouseedit #gustohedit #disney #disneyedit #cartoon #cartoonedit #edit #videostar #videostarpro #vs #vsp #foryou #foryoupage #fy #fyp #fypシ #viral
