they try to hide their misogyny and jealousy of angelina behind the "switching between twins" excuse... she went to the ball with fred as friends, and im sure they dated very briefly since jkr did refer to her as Fred's ex, but they broke up long before the battle at hogwarts. and don't people understand that angelina was probably one of the only people who grieved fred as much as george did (that wasnt family ofc) and the two obviously would have spent a lot of time comforting each other? it wouldve been difficult not to develop affection and care for someone you spent lots of times of deep, vulnerable emotion with. im personally not a fan of jkrs choice to marry angelina and george at the end of the story since it does make it even harder for people to separate the twins as two individual people rather than duplicates of each other but that doesnt mean angelinas a bad person for doing it😭

I think Angelina is incorrectly described in the HP fandom because it is about the timeline in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, only we see her with Fred at the Yule Ball.Besides, no one confirmed that they were dating, neither the book writer nor the director , so theoretically Fred and Angelina They were just friends or it could have been a one-time crush, so you can't blame Angelina that she married George, after all it was after the wizarding war after Fred's death

I don't hate Angelina cause I know for s fact that she was just really good friends with the twins who kinda matched their personality, which is why she probably say next to them a lot in the great Hall, then again I was too busy starin at George to notice her "pulling the twins"
