@worldadventurists: We finally visited the Squamish Canyon, and it completely surprised us. Yes, you can visit Mamquam Falls via the public trail, but the Squamish Canyon takes the experience to another level. The boardwalk winds through the canyon with multiple viewpoints where you’ll see different sections and cascades of Mamquam Falls from different angles. We’ve done the public trail before, and we were 🤯 when we realized how much more there was to see! The viewpoints from the Squamish Canyon are 👌. Along the way, you’ll find interactive flip boards that make the walk even more fun for kids and add a little extra adventure as you explore the canyon. One thing we find fascinating about Mamquam Falls is that it never looks exactly the same. This year, we visited a little earlier in the season and found the water had a beautiful milky colour, while last summer’s visit revealed that iconic turquoise blue. Every visit brings something new. After exploring the canyon, the kids loved the play area where they could burn off energy while we relaxed with a snack nearby. It’s one of those rare stops where everyone in the family leaves happy. 📍Squamish Canyon - 39180 Powerhouse Springs Rd, Squamish ❗️It’s located off the well-maintained Mamquam Forest Service Road, which is accessible with any vehicle.
