@zacharymorris: I Finally Checked My Tesla Battery After 27,000 Miles… Full results at the end of the video. After more than 1 year and 27,000 miles with my 2026 Tesla Model Y, I finally ran a battery health test to see how much degradation it’s experienced. If you’re thinking about buying a Tesla or wondering how EV batteries hold up over time, here’s what real-world ownership looks like. 🔋⚡ #tesla #ev #batteryhealth #teslamodely #carsoftiktok

How is possible you have 87% at very low mileage? I have Tesla Model 3 AWD Long Range 2022 with 102k Kilometers and Still Have 91% Battery Health and i use only Supercharger and i do 2 to 3 time every month at 100% charge

Battery degradation isn’t linear, this is pretty normal for the NMC packs used for model Y. There’s so many factors that affect this sort of thing I wouldn’t harp on it too much tbh, just drive normally and charge to 80% or less if you’re not driving much, I’m at about 80% capacity after 90k miles

GUYSSSS!!! You can charge your car to 100% if you have an LFP battery. The battery degradation is legit negligible compared to only charging to 80%. Same goes with exclusively super charging vs at home charging. If anything your driving habits will have a more significant impact on your range than exclusively charging to 80% at home charging. Teslas LFP batteries, especially the newer ones, are rated to last/keep 80% battery retention up to 660-800k miles.

My model S is at 89% at 75,000 miles! It’s 4 years old. I charge to 75% and home charge. No super charging and never 100%. IMO it’s wasting money for the future to charge to 100% that much. The battery will not last.
