@cecilia076_236_1537: Sometimes the hardest person to get permission from… is yourself. Three years ago, I knew something needed to change. But the minute I considered doing something different, the opinions came. "Don't do it." "It's probably a scam." "You'll waste your money." And then my own voice joined in… "When are you possibly going to find the time?" I was already working 15-hour days. I was exhausted. I had every reason to convince myself that now wasn't the right time. But deep down, I also knew something else… I couldn't keep asking for a different life while making decisions that kept me in the same one. So I backed myself. Not recklessly. Not because I had some guarantee it would work. I learned. I asked questions. I followed people who had already done what I wanted to do. And I started. A few weeks later, things started changing. Three years later, I look at my life and think about how different it could have been if I'd allowed fear —mine or somebody else's— to make that decision for me. So from one mom to another… If something inside you keeps saying it's time to build something for your future, don't automatically silence it because you're scared. Get the information. Ask the questions. Understand what you're stepping into. And then make your own decision.
