Wow never seen an albino Robin before! I bet they get killed quickly in the wild, very hard for them to hide from predators. That’s truly amazing I hope it stays at the farm so you can see it grow

I wonder if you should take the albino one to a rehabber or sanctuary so can have a fighting chance or be a wildlife ambassador

the albino one looks strong. the parents haven't kicked it out yet, I doubt they will this far along. as long as it doesn't get snatched up by someone's cat while it's learning to fly, it will do fine

Plenty of albino animals make it into adulthood, and thrive just fine. People suggesting to remove it from it's habitat just because of it's color makes no sense, the WILD animal is happier in the WILD not taken into human hands plus sanctuaries take in animals that are actually unable to be wild and this chick looks strong and healthy.

Some of these comments are odd. While rare, albinism has been observed more in robins than any other wild bird species. It is not a death sentence and will not affect its breeding prospects, there is no reason to take a healthy baby from parents that are feeding it. It doesn't need to be studied, they already did a bunch of that. It may end up with certain challenges, but that's a risk every baby bird faces and at the moment it looks strong. Cool video.

Sad fact: Albino birds do not live long in the wild because they lack melanin. This missing pigment causes severe vision problems, weak feathers that break easily, and bright white feathers that fail to hide them from hungry predators

Albinism more than likely it won’t survive not to the fact that it’s white some do survive, but it has red eyes as well. Meaning more than likely it’s either deaf or blind or both.

Raising baby birds takes a huge amount of time and effort, I get the comments want the best for the albino chick but taking a healthy bird and taking resources away from animals that need it to care for them feels wrong. Plus a rehabbers goal is to release them back to the wild anyways. I think letting nature take its course makes the most sense, I hope we get to see what they look like as an adult!
