You guys asked, so here it is! I partnered with @Goodwill Southern California to show you how I turn thrifted kitchenware into dessert candles! 🍓✨ #sponsored Last July, I made a series of candles with thrifted kitchenware I found at my local Goodwill SoCal store to turn into candles to gift to friends and family. So many loved how they turned out so I’m here making more fun candles with my thrifted finds from Goodwill. For this project, the theme is summer and at first I thought of doing another icecream/halohalo dessert candle or maybe a summer themed lemon tea/cake candle but when I saw these perfectly strawberry red ramekins in the kitchen aisle, I immediately knew Strawberries and Cream was summer theme for this. Fun fact, SoCal strawberries season generally runs from February to July! 🍓🍰✨ I found these set of Ramekins were $9.99 for a set of 3 but one went missing (or was broken) so they reduced it down to $6.99 for me for a set of two which is still a great deal! One of the reasons why I love shopping at my local Goodwill SoCal stores is because I can find quality items within budget and it also reuses something that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. Now these ramekins have a second life as some Berry cute candles that I’ll be gifting to friends later this month! I am obsessed with how they turned out and I hope this inspires you to create your own with your thrifted finds! SAVE this idea for your next Thrift Day and be sure to stop by a local Goodwill SoCal store near you! #goodwillfinds #thriftfinds thriftflip #diycandles #dessertcandles
